Hardness Testing Instrument ZHU 250

This universal hardness tester offers an excellent price/performance ratio and can be used for classical hardness testing methods for metals and, in particular, for plastics. 
 
The ZH250’s applications include tests to Rockwell R, L, M, a(alpha), determining ball-indentation hardness and all established optical hardness testing methods (Vickers, Brinell, Knoop), providing standard-compliant measurements in a load range from 1 to 250 kg. 
 
Outstanding features include above-average test area size, measurement free from parallax error (thanks to measurement lines integrated into the screen optics), a fully automated test sequence and a highly accurate closed loop drive system, together with excellent depth of field. RS232 connection to testXpert^® testing software allows all tests to be evaluated and documented and, for example, data tranferred to quality assurance systems for further processing.
